"Jameka plays for Coach Kevin Thomas at perennial power Shelbyville Central High School," said Fisher. "Jameka is a tremendous athlete who can score both inside and out. She brings size and athleticism to the wing position and plays with a passion that is contagious. She has the tools to be a terrific defender as well and will fit very well into our system at PC."Mason, a 6' 3" center, will bring a stellar resume to PC following a four-year career at William J. Brennan High School in San Antonio, Texas. Mason helped the Lady Bears to a regional championship in 2012-13 and the state semifinals with a 30-9 record. She made her defensive presence felt in the middle,High Temperature Hose averaging two blocks per game with seven rebounds per outing.
Mason also plays for club team Sophia Young Elite and competes in the shotput for the Brennan track and field team, where she earned All-District Second Team honors."Tia Mason comes to us from a tremendous Brennan High School program in San Antonio, Texas coached by Koty Cowgill," Fisher said. "Tia adds much needed size and an inside presence for our team. She is a solid interior defender and rebounder and is a great passer from the post. She continues to improve as a finisher and will have ample opportunity to score in our system designed to get the ball inside."Storey, a 5' 6" guard, will come to PC after years of running the floor at Lincoln County High School in Fayetteville, Tenn. Storey already holds the school's career assist record and averaged 16 points a game as a junior to go along with seven assists per game.
She helped the squad reach third and fourth in the district tournament Low Temperature Hose and took home All-District and All-Tournament Team honors with a Miss Basketball nomination. Storey also used her quick footwork to help the school's soccer team to the district tournament and was named the Freshman of the Year."Cortney plays in a great program for Coach Herman Hardin at Lincoln County High School," Fisher said. "She adds speed at the point guard position and is one of the toughest kids I have ever recruited. She is a solid 3 point shooter who can create for her teammates with her ability to penetrate. I love her leadership qualities and look for her to have a great career in our program."
