Police search for 3 suspects after Long Lake couple duct taped

Police are searching for three armed suspects following a reported home invasion and robbery in Long Lake, Minn.Three black men entered the home of John and Karen Davis around 2 p.m. at 294 Glenmore Avenue on Saturday afternoon, bound them with duct tape and held them at gunpoint, stealing their red 2014 Kia Sorento, Minnesota plate number 723-KVL, both of their wallets and cell phones. When the couple was able to break free, they called police around 3:40 p.m. Police saw a trail of blood leading from the house but do not believe it came from John or Karen Davis.

John Davis was taken to North Memorial for back and neck injuries. Karen Davis was punched in the nose by one of the intruders but refused treatment. She is currently at home recovering. Police say their injuries are not serious and they are expected to recover.Wayzata police have had jurisdiction over the address since 2011 -- it was previously covered by Orono police. Since 2011, Wayzata police have had 22 calls to this address for various reports, including harassment, court order violations and pointing a gun at an officer. We've seen a lot of reports from Angie's List members in which they were quoted prices ranging from $49 to more than $1,000 for air-duct cleaning. With such a wide array of pricing, how is a homeowner to know what to pay? I r.mend you start by avoiding the super-low "deals."

If you hire a reputable.pany to clean your ducts, expect to pay $300 to $500, depending on the size of your house, the number of ducts you have and how difficult or easy it is for the.pany to access them.In your case, the cost probably will be closer to $500 than $300, but check with a few.panies in your area to see what they charge. What's most important is to find a.pany with a good reputation in your.munity. Unfortunately, duct cleaning is an industry in which we see some.panies try bait-and-switch tactics. These scammers will advertise that unbelievably low rate — typically with a coupon in a mailer or flier — and then immediately start tacking on up-charges or use scare tactics, such as saying they've found mold in your ducts, almost as soon as they get in the door.
